Liz Trotta: "Somebody knock off Osama , umm, ah… Obama"

Fox News contributor Liz Trotta joked that someone could, or should assassinate Obama. She even "misprononounced" his name as "Osama" in the process:
…and now we have what some are reading—as a suggestion that somebody knock off Osama , umm, ah… Obama, well both if we could…haha…
Trotta later apologized.

Mike Huckabee: Obama assassination joke

Former Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee "joked" that a loud noise during his talk to the National Rifle Association was an assassination attempt on Obama:
That was Barack Obama. He just tripped off a chair. He's getting ready to speak and somebody aimed a gun at him and he -- he dove for the floor.
Huckabee apologized the next day.

Geoff Davis: "That boy"

As we launch this blog, primary season is winding down, and the general gears up. We'll be catching up on some classic Obama Smears (TM). In April, Geoff Davis, a Republican Congressman from Kentucky, used the phrase "that boy" to refer to Obama:
I'm going to tell you something: That boy's finger does not need to be on the button. He could not make a decision in that simulation that related to a nuclear threat to this country.

Davis later apologized for his "poor choice of words."
